Melina Miharo's head was spinning. There was a blur of color...or, at least, she thought there was a blur. She remembered a blur, but she wasn't sure if that was in the present or the past. She remembered these men kidnapping her from her home, taking her....where? Where was she?

Silence greeted her. There was no confused shouts of her and her parents, no overbearing commands of the men who had kidnapped her. There was just...silence.

Her eyes opened.

"Oh!" Her voice escaped in a soft whisper. Where the hell was she? Some dark...prison cell? That's what it seemed like. She was sore. It felt like she was being suspended...she glanced around and saw the chains that held her to a brick wall. Chained...to a wall? What had happened?

She could sense that she wasn't alone, but in the darkness, she couldn't see much. Couldn't see if there was anyone else around her. So she pushed her weak voice further. "Hello? Is...is anyone there?"
"Arrogance. That's all that you are." Koishii knew he was dreaming, maybe even hallucinating. In either case, it was a memory and not reality that plagued him. "It's disgusting..." And with that, he awoke. For a moment, he thought he was still asleep, for he couldn't see anything, just blackness. After blinking a few times, he started to recall being hit on the head...

Let's see... He tried looking around, in the small chance he might see even a small glimmer of light or that his eyes would adjust enough to be able to make things out. The latter proved to be the case, as soon he could see the silhouettes of several figures around him and his own chains.

Instead of doing anything, he made a quick judgment call and waited. Even after a voice called out in the darkness, he remained silent.
Rudy sighed. He was chained to a wall by both arms. He'd been that way for a while. They'd had to chain him, of course. He wasn't willing to go quietly. He ached all over too. They must have done a number on him after they'd knocked him out. He took a wheezing breath, then let it out in another sigh as he tugged once on the chains. At the voice, he winced. "Not so loud. I feel like my head was used for futbol. Oh wait, it was." He groaned.
"Sorry," Melina whispered. "So I'm not alone then? How many more are here? And where are we?"

Her eyes were adjusting to the darkness and she could vaguely make out the shapes of maybe four other people. Couldn't see any definite shapes, but they were human enough to bring a slight sense of relief that she wasn't alone in the dark.

Another question burst from her lips. "And...why are we here?"
Suddenly the room was bathed in blinding white light as rows of light clicked on as one. And from the flood of light, a voice spoke softly, but full of a power and resonance that sent shivers down the spine.

"You are here because we brought you here."

Standing the middle of the room, hands clasped behind his back, was a man in a crisp uniform, the dark black a stark contrast to the sudden blinding light, a military cap pulled low over his eyes, the only marking on the uniform a single silver star on the cap.

Flanking him on either side were four men, each in green combat fatigues and flak vests, black baklava's covering their faces and combat helmets on their heads. Each also carried an M-16, held across their chests, barrel pointed to the ground.

It was the man in black, clearly some sort of commander, that spoke, the men surrounding him silent.

"You are here as .... guests. Your stay will be as comfortable or painful as you make it. Any attempts to escape will be met with force. You will comply with all orders we give you. Disobedience will be met with force. Do I make myself clear?"
Rudy winced, squinting his eyes shut at the blinding light. The voice, while softly issued, was murder on his already pounding head. He asked himself for the fifth time since waking up what exactly they did to him. He took a ragged breath. "Could someone tell the cast of Hogan's Zeros over there to cut the lights? I'd like to be able to die in peace please. Or at least get me some aspirin and my Exeter."
Setsuna woke up sometime ago before the others but quietly
standing there in chains playing possum. His eyes closed, yet listening.

He ...was waiting. ..Waiting for the opportune moment...The lights flicked on and his
eyes winced a fraction. he could hear a voice and by the sound of it he was the leader
which meant he was surrounded by lots of men. He had guessed.

Setsuna stayed silent. Not moving a muscle.
Chuckling slowly, deeply, that man slowly walked over to the boy, his steps echoing through the silence of the room. "My appologize. You must be in quite a lot of pain. My men weren't exactly gentle bringing you here, were they?"

Leaning forward, he spoke softly into the boys ear, not even looking at him. "But if your wish is to die ...."

In a blur of motion, little more then a flick of his wrist, a stun baton was gripped in his hand, extended and crackling with electricity, the stink of ozone reaching the nostrils. Slamming it up into the restrain boys stomach, 3000 volts of electricity rushing through his central nervous system all at once.

And when he spoke again, keeping that overcharged weapon pressed into his stomach, it was still level, calm, as if he was doing nothing at all. "I will be more then happy to obligue."
And that's why I chose not to speak. He was still having trouble seeing, blinding lights flashing on right after growing accustomed to the darkness will do that to you, but the sound of electricity was enough to go by. So. I'm staying at the pleasure of a madman. "What exactly do you want? More to the point, what could I possibly have that you need? I'm a damn teenager."
