This is about all the Harry Potter movies. (: I enjoyed all of them majorly! I think it's amazing what they can do to bring Hogwarts to life in the movies. Then I read the books and watched the movies again RIGHT AFTER and noticed huge flaws and mixed up characters, once again, like almost all movies have. Makes me want to have a Harry Potter marathon and see if the story portrayed in just the movies alone makes sense to the actual books.

I'm SO excited for the sixth movie to come out! It looks amazing and seems pretty decent when compared with the book, so far as the commercials have shown.
I've seriously gotta read the books...
I've been a Harry Potter fangirl since the first book came out Big Grin

*glares at Raven* Nevermind the people who can point out flaws and stuff, the story itself is amazing. Last semester in British Literature we read the last Harry Potter book and went way deep into the symbolism and how everything connects back to alchemy...and had a Harry Potter party! Hehe.

As for the movies, I remember when the first one came out and I was like *SQUEE!* Movies aren't the most accurate of course, but I do heart Daniel Radcliffe to death xD Third movie's my personal favorite. Fifth book is my favorite in the series but they slaughtered the movie! *cries dramatically* So here's hoping that the sixth movie is decent enough. I'm definitely excited! Been waiting for ages - the movie was supposed to come out on my birthday but it was replaced with Twilight when it got pushed back *shudders* ....so here's to the last week of waiting Big Grin
What's awesome is at least the PC game for Harry Potter is more accurate. (: Pretty awesome; was up all night playing it the other day!

I was SO MAD when Harry Potter was pushed to come out in the summer because of Twilight! I was waiting for November for probably a YEAR, no joke, and now it's just FIVE DAYS away. I wish I could see it on the exact day, but it'll most likely be sold out, I'm sure. ^^;
You thought you were mad? The HP movies always came out around the time of my birthday and this one was supposed to be released on my birthday! But then we got stuck with Twilight and me, my best friend and my ex were stuck seeing the movie with thousands of screaming high school girls (thousands being half the high school, that is).

...I think me and my friends might go for a midnight showing, but then again, if everyone else is seeing the midnight showing...we'll be fighting for tickets...like, literally... o___o
I fucking LOVE Harry Potter.
Personally, in my opinion, I know the movies
don't match the books but they're still fucking good.

I love the series itself. I love the games which I always fun to play.
Hell, I even got some other HP assortments when I was younger.
For the series itself my favorite books where 5,7,3 in the order i liked them.

I don't care how many bust down on harry potter. I fucking love it. and I'm a fan
no matter what. I don't care if dumbledore is gay. What because he's gay I should
stop being a fan? Fuck that.
Haha I remember my British Lit professor and I had some discussion on the Dumbledore thing. I don't actually think it had much to do with the plot, but was more of a publicity stunt. *shrug* Whatever it was, it just made Dumbledore even more epic win, haha.

...the sixth movie though...better not be as botched up as the fifth one was. Ruined the best book in the series >.>
Viral, you remember the Harry Potter envelope and paper you sent? XD Reminds me of that.

Harry Potter's an amazing series, and I'm happy I was pushed to read the books, afraid one of my family members was going to ruin it for me. )X They really liked to blab about it. I loved the seventh one, don't get me wrong, but the ending? /: C'mon. J.K. Rowling could've done WAY better, in my opinion. It was so sudden.
