Your generic updates thread - Icey - 02-20-2010 02:31 PM Welcome to your generic updates thread! This is just a place for me to list minor changes that don't need whole new topics to be in...but should still be posted so you're not all WTF over it. So, some stuff. The Computer Tech forum has undergone a change. Hacking has now become the General Computer forum. A bunch of topics from Hacking have been moved to the Security forum. And in addition, the Operating Systems, Hardware and Software forums have all been moved as subforums under General Computer. During the move, several topics were either trashed or deleted altogether, so don't be surprised if your post counts have dropped slightly. Shouldn't be too much of a difference. Also: The anime forum is now a subforum of Movies & Television. RE: Your generic updates thread - Teddy - 02-23-2010 11:02 PM Great Job!! Forums look nice. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 04-03-2010 10:50 PM Alright guys, bumping this for a moment. Some minor/major updates. THL's homepage, which hasn't been up for a while. is finally being released soon. However this is just a mock-up page until the final one is completed. The demo is getting closer and closer to being released live. there might be a new theme for thl along with homepage. And finally; A new bar is coming soon. Some of the minor bugs like the login box will be fixed soon oh so very soon. -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 04-04-2010 12:39 AM Ok guys. I'm looking for forum beta testers. the "quick login" box at the top, which everyone was complaining about was fixed. So if anyone else has a problem with it still, or see's new problems in other browsers, be sure to report the bug please. RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 04-04-2010 11:52 AM I've got some indie browsers still that I can try..like Maxthon uses the same rendering engine as IE RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 04-04-2010 01:58 PM Well, when you submit a bug submit it to the bug thread (with screen shots, that would help. Lol) RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 04-04-2010 05:21 PM WHOA. I'm on firefox 3.6.3 and the login box was to the side, and it seemed to jump more to the right when I clicked "Log in" ...pretty kick ass. Nice job, boys ![]() Also, has this been tested in other browsers? While Wrath does the indie stuff, I can do the more mainstream browsers I have, like Chrome, Opera and IE8... RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 04-04-2010 05:33 PM Yeah we switch the login box to 2 fields, and to because there was a collision over lapse with the word "Guest!" and the login button. We moved it. RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 04-04-2010 07:31 PM That didn't answer my question >_> More generic updates: The Honor List has been reformatted and updated. I went through and changed usernames and positions. Even if it's just some obscure topic, you guys have our eternal thanks for everything you do for us! <3 RE: Your generic updates thread - Chives - 04-04-2010 07:33 PM it still looks exactly the same on webkit RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 04-04-2010 07:37 PM Mobile, right? I don't think THL was ever optimized for mobile use o_o RE: Your generic updates thread - Chives - 04-04-2010 08:10 PM it looks the same as it would on safari RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 04-04-2010 08:50 PM O___O Ah. No one's ever mentioned how it looks on Safari, aside from now... RE: Your generic updates thread - Chives - 04-04-2010 10:42 PM it looks the same as it would on that telescreen google put out RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 05-09-2010 10:49 AM Minor updates:
RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 05-09-2010 11:36 AM Because random pics, people's age/gender, etc is important. RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 05-09-2010 11:40 AM Think of it as quick reference to the most replied to topics in the forum, rather than letting them get buried and you having to hunt them down
RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 06-22-2010 04:26 PM *bump* Forum theme will be changing to reflect the home page. First to go are the category bars....no more of that kinda bluish/greenish/whatever. It's going to be purple now. Next is going to be the links...then maybe the buttons, if I can either shop them or make new buttons. So if you see some weird mismatches, patience please! O.o; RE: Your generic updates thread - Cross - 06-22-2010 08:49 PM I have to say I like this one a lot better! Good improvement. :] <3 RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 06-22-2010 09:08 PM I like the user bar things too. "administrator". RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 06-22-2010 10:14 PM @Wrath, the "administrator" user tag under my user title? @Bella: I said this in the other topic first, so thanks again
RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 06-23-2010 12:49 AM One more notice: I may or may not change the forum background (site looks too dark, but Idk how it would look if I made it a sort of purplish...) As for changing the rest of the site, aside from some problems with the CSS (links still showing up as blue instead of purple in some areas), the makeover is about done. I may tweak things like link colors again. Lol. RE: Your generic updates thread - blake - 07-05-2010 01:25 PM I like the little sparks that follow the mouse nice addition! ~blake~ RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-05-2010 01:29 PM Thanks. Took me a little bit of time to script. Lol. But, its a lead of " ... " that follow you around. If you let them sit for a moment, they turn into a halo. Lol. -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 07-05-2010 02:33 PM Find the easter egg >:] RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 07-05-2010 03:40 PM Way ahead of ya. RE: Your generic updates thread - Icey - 07-05-2010 07:31 PM I know another one xD RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 07-05-2010 07:43 PM o_o Damn you. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-05-2010 08:05 PM Lol come on guys...find those eggs! -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 07-05-2010 08:40 PM If it's another key combination, how the hell can we? o_o RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-05-2010 08:45 PM Lmfao. I figured someone was gonna ask. therefor I'll tell you a secret. Most of the pre-treasure hunt eggs, will only contain the arrow keys or enter key or both. and rarely anything else, but if it does have something else, I'll hint at it. Now...the number of times you have to press it, is completely independent. or you may only have to hold a single key down. o_o....just play around. you'll get it. lol -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - blake - 07-05-2010 10:01 PM Oh i found the easter egg!
RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-05-2010 10:22 PM Which one blake? -Viral RE: Your generic updates thread - blake - 07-06-2010 12:13 AM the up arrow. ![]() ~blake~ RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-06-2010 12:40 AM Oh? And how did you discover it? Lol. -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - blake - 07-06-2010 12:46 AM or you may only have to hold a single key down That gave it away
RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-06-2010 01:06 AM Lol it's technically both. You either press it like 8 times. Or hold it down. But good job. -Viral. Unfortunately, I am going to have to agree with this one. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-06-2010 07:32 PM I don't see how it's obnoxious. What's so bad about them? Is it just the sheer number of them? -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - The Puppeteer - 07-06-2010 08:06 PM I don't mind em myself.. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-06-2010 08:38 PM Yeah but....the question is "why"? Why is it so irritating? -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-06-2010 08:56 PM Well for those who don't want the mouse trail following them. Go to your user CP, go to options, and select the theme "Black-Fun(Scriptless)" And you will no longer have a mouse trail. -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-07-2010 04:29 PM 1) I changed it back to dots. Lol. I left the msg like that for Melissa cause she asked me too. 2) There's nothing wrong with the theme. It's an exact copy. I'm on it right now. -Viral. RE: Your generic updates thread - Viral Dragon - 07-07-2010 10:49 PM I'm on the theme right now, again, There is nothing wrong with it, in any browser I use. I think it could just be your cookies.
